Principal's MEssage
Dear Families,
My thoughts are with the individuals and families who have been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. I know that this situation is a difficult one for our students, families, and teachers. Here are a few things that we are doing:
- We continue prioritizing the distribution of devices and materials to our students.
- We are committed to providing services to all of our families. Our Pupil Services Attendance (PSA) Counselors, School Psychologist, and Psychiatric Social Worker are available and may provide appointments for students with social emotional and/or behavioral needs as deemed necessary by the staff, as well as, communicate with families to provide additional support.
Please know that we care about our students and we will do whatever it takes to virtually teach our Normandie Cougar Leaders. We will focus on teaching to the standards and assessing their progress. We will be grading the students according to their progress.

Mis pensamientos están con las personas y familias que han sido afectadas por la pandemia de COVID-19. Sé que esta situación es difícil para nuestros estudiantes, familias, y maestros. Aquí hay algunas cosas de las que estamos haciendo:
- Estamos priorizando la distribución de dispositivos y materiales a nuestros estudiantes.
- Estamos comprometidos a proporcionar servicios a todas nuestras familias. Nuestros consejeros de asistencia a servicios de alumnos (por sus siglas en inglés PSA), psicólogos escolares, y trabajadoras social psiquiátrica están disponibles y pueden proporcionar citas para estudiantes con necesidades sociales, emocionales y/o conductuales según lo considere necesario nuestro personal de la escuela, así como comunicarse con las familias para brindar apoyo adicional.
Tenga en cuenta que nos preocupamos por nuestros estudiantes y haremos lo que sea necesario para enseñarles virtualmente. Nos enfocaremos en enseñar de acuerdo con los estándares y evaluar el progreso durante el resto del año. Estaremos calificando a los estudiantes de acuerdo con su progreso.
